Chief Executive Officer
Christopher Denny is charged with the leadership and management of Mundo. He is responsible for its direction and strategic objectives and maintains its relationships with all stakeholders.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies and a masters degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He possesses years of proven experience, having held management positions in several financial institutions in Jamaica and Trinidad, including First Caribbean International Bank, National Commercial Bank and Citibank.
Chief Financial Officer
Belinda Jackson directs Mundo’s financial management, risk management and compliance activities. She is responsible for ensuring that the financial reporting framework supports the strategic objectives of the organization.
Belinda is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience within the world of financial accounting. She has played a range of roles from group internal auditor to financial controller in a number of Jamaican companies, including Dolphin Cove, Couples Resorts, KPMG and Sun Island Route Adventure Tours.
Robert J Taylor, BSc. LLB, MBA is managing partner of Taylor Law. With an educational background in both law and business Robert’s early professional career in corporate banking and finance provides him with a unique perspective on legal matters. Robert has proven competence in law and family wealth management.Assuming responsibility for a portfolio of wealth assets and going concern entities for select entrepreneurial families and corporate subsidiaries.
Robert relies heavily on his experience as a former Citi banker where he structured and approved large commercial transactions. Robert has led the acquisition of substantial real estate assets which include multi-unit complexes and large real estate development projects and going concern commercial entities, both locally and overseas. These types of transactions have become a staple of Robert’s core accomplishments as well as advising and structuring wealth management platforms for tax and succession planning implicit in many of these types of structures.
Steven Gooden is the Chief Executive Officer of NCB Capital Markets Limited, which under his leadership has expanded into the southern and eastern Caribbean via the establishment of hubs in the Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. His strategic focus is to drive product penetration throughout the Group and to expand the company’s reach across the region.
Steven’s ascension to executive management was at 26 years old when he was appointed General Manager for one of Jamaica’s leading fund management companies. In 2009, he rejoined NCB Capital Markets as Vice President, Investments and Trading where he successfully integrated the investment management functions of the Group’s subsidiaries with combined assets exceeding US$2billion.
Steven is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, has a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting, and has received many accolades in the areas of research and portfolio management. He has also participated in executive development courses at Chicago Booth and Wharton Business schools covering strategy, change leadership and mergers & acquisitions.
Steven sits on the board of directors of several companies within the NCB Group, the Jamaica Stock Exchange Limited and the Caribbean Mezzanine Fund. Additionally, he is the Chairman of NCB Global Finance (T&T) Ltd, NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Limited and Elite Diagnostics Limited, as well as President of the Jamaica Securities Dealers Association.
Allison Wynter is the Group Chief Risk Officer for the NCB Financial Group Limited with oversight responsibility for the risk-taking activities of the company and its subsidiaries.Prior to joining the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, Allison worked at Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited and Price Waterhouse.
Allison is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Allison sits on the Risk committees for companies within the NCB Group and on the Investment Committee of the Caribbean Mezzanine Fund. Additionally, she is a Trustee of the NCB Pension Fund (1999), The Advantage General Pension and SMART Retirement Plan (an approved Retirement Scheme sponsored by NCB Insurance Company Limited).
Christine McMorris started her career as an Auditor at KPMG in Miami, Florida and continued at KPMG Jamaica as Audit Manager. While at KPMG, she managed mainly financial audits in the Banking and Financial sector. After spending six years in the public accounting field, she immediately went to work for Citibank, N.A. in Jamaica as Financial Controller and Vice President where she stayed for 12 years. During her tenure at Citibank, in addition to her duties as Financial Controller, she managed Credit Card Operations and Finance and the Quality Assurance department. Christine left Citibank to assist with the creation of new investment development company, Kronos Limited, as Director and CFO/COO where she has been for 11 years. At Kronos, Christine acts as the lead consultant responsible for financial modeling, budget/projections and operational procedures development for all major client projects. In addition, she specializes in company and project financial architecture, operations design, audit and control.
Christine has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Miami. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Mr. Mahfood has been investing and participating in the local construction and infrastructure sector for over 31 years at both the mid and high end of the market. In the role of developer and contractor, Mr. Mahfood has to his credit several residential developments in St. Andrew which include The Pines of Millsborough and Cherry Drive Estates.
In 2005, Mark Mahfood acquired 50% shares in the development firm West Indies Home Contractors Ltd that has since completed the hugely successful commercial projects of Vistaprint in St James – a state of the art technology support centre, the Whitter Village Retail Complex in St James and office suites at Musgrave Professional Complex in St. Andrew. Residential projects since the acquisition include – The phased Jacaranda housing developments in St. Catherine; Country Club Phases 1 and 2; Forest Ridge located in St. Andrew and in Montego Bay, The Meadows of Irwin.
Mark Mahfood’s contribution to development extends beyond the shores of Jamaica to the Cayman Islands where from 1995 to present, his investments have contributed significantly to the demand for commercial offices, residential mid and high-end properties, shopping centres and warehouse facilities on the island.
